Goldilocks and the three bears -Writing skills

Watch and listen to this tale.




  • Once you have watched and listened to the story, correct the following text by replacing the silly words with sensible ones. It is a good way of practicing and enhancing writing.


Once upon a time there was a little girl called Little Red Riding Hood. She had brown hair. One day she was walking in the street. She saw a castle and knocked on the window. She went inside. Nobody was there. Little Red Riding Hood saw four bowls on the table. She was happy. She ate the smallest porridge. Little Red Riding Hood was hungry now. She sat on the big chair and it broke. She was very sad and she went upstairs. She found four sofas. She slept on the big one. Soon, the four pandas came home.

'Someone's been eating our fruit!' -said the four pandas.
'Someone's been sitting on our tables!' -said the four pandas.
'Someone is eating in my sofa!' -said Baby Bear.

Little Red Riding Hood woke up and saw the four pandas. She jumped to the street and she never came back again.

  • Once you have practised the vocabulary and your speaking skills, match the following written instructions with the correct picture.

- You go through the departure gate before you enter the plane.

- A police officer looks at your passport and you go into the departure lounge to wait for your flight.

- You have to go to the check-in desk, where someone will check your ticket and weigh your luggage.

- When all the passengers are on board, the plane takes off.
