Once you have practiced the vocabulary, you are ready to learn a song called This is the way we go to school.  Fill in the gaps with the correct words provided here. Pay attention and good luck!

  2. Hi Meritxel!!
I think I´ll use your activity with my kids. The song is very catchy so kids will learn it quickly. Also, I think that combining it with a filling the gaps activity is very useful to show them how the actions are written.

Thanks for sharing this activity with us,

  4. Hello!
I think that the contrast between colors is very good, it looks very well what to do. The pop-up window of the images is very original as well. The song is very appropriate for the activity but I think that it´s better that the song is subtitled.
This is a very complete activity to increase the listening and reading skills in the first year of Primary.
It is a good idea to provide solutions through a link to Google Drive.
The only thing that I would change is the background. I would change it for one more appropriate for children.
This post and blog is a very good work, congratulations.

  6. I like this activity very much, it is very complete. It copes with all the four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing). It is very useful to show the solution of the activity too. I am sure children would love this activity. I would change the picture of the map from the background, something more childish or more English. It is a good way for them to learn some practical verbs about daily routines.
